Comforter # 3: Flowery waves in double size

This was knit in Dec. 2008 using a combination of new yarn and some from my personal stash. I started this because I found yarn that was on sale for $2 a ball. This comforter took me 5 weeks, $90, and 29 balls of yarn. I bought 23 balls of yarn so I could reduce my personal stash by 6 balls.
OH La La.. you don't want to know how many balls of yarn I have in my knitting room.
weight:
medium (slightly thicker than Aran wt) for the 'stained glass' yarn shown in varigated white.
bulky for the wine colored inner border, yarn is Lion Suede by Lionbrand..
bulky for inner rectangle which is Marble by Kertzer.
Even though I mixed 2 different wt yarns, this project turned out beautifully.
Anyone wishing to have the pattern, please let me know and I'll post it.

Snapshot

I was born in Canada and I'm still here. Although I love to travel, work ties me down just like 90% of the population. I'm old enough to tie my favourite Asics runners but still young enough to read the vampire series by Stephanie Meyer (Twilight is the first book).

These are the memoirs of the artistic endevours throughout my life.

Enjoy!
